Exclusive Elvis Presley Single At Record Store Day Black Friday
On November 27, 2015, it is Record Store Day Black Friday 2015. This day is just like the regular Record Store Day (April) intended to set the independent record store in the picture. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving Day, the national holiday that always falls on the fourth Thursday in November. It is considered as the start of the season for Christmas shopping. Also Record Store Day America takes this day to bring the independent record store in the spotlight. On that day, every year several exclusive vinyl releases are being released.
This year Elvis Presley is naturally in the list with an exclusive single with the songs "If I Can Dream' and 'Anything That's Part Of You'. Both songs come from the future album 'If I Can Dream' with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The second track on the single is only available as a bonus track on the album which will be released in the boxset of 'If I Can Dream' only in the UK. The next edition of the 'normal' Record Store Day takes place on Saturday, April 16th, 2016.

ReplyDeleteThis is THE most ultimate coolest photo of Elvis EVER !!!!!! Just for this photo alone I will buy this set :)
Black Friday here in America is just crazy.....you don't save that much....just shop around on line and most times you will find better deals. Oh well, that's off topic.
Man...Elvis looks cool in this photo....a must to have !!!!!

Got this cd a few weeks ago......was not really thrilled in the first place.....but after a few times listening to this cd, I think it is okay.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is , according Priscilla, something that Elvis really wanted.
But the cd is okay.
I like Burning Love and Steamroller Blues.
I don't think they should have made a duet out of Fever.
Fever is not a "man and man" duet..... but than on the other hand, if it was a duet with a woman, than the lyrics should have been changed.
Fever is a cool song, but they should have left it alone.....
