The Auction at Graceland - August 13, 2016
Lot 1832586: Rare Original Vintage Elvis Album - Elvis Sings Inspirational Favorites
Lot 176: Elvis Presley Signed American Express Card
Estimated Price: $40,000 - $60,000
Personally owned and signed American Express card that belonged to none other than the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll himself! Elvis rarely paid in cash, so this amazing piece of plastic was surely something he never left home without. This 1973-74 issue “Money Card” clearly states “Elvis A. Presley” on the front and carries a bold, blue Elvis Presley signature along the strip on the reverse.
Lot 159: Elvis Presley Owned 1971 Colt Lawman MKIII .357 Magnum Revolver
Estimated Price: $25,000 - $35,000
On October 9, 1971, Elvis Presley visited the Frontier Gun Shop in Palm Springs, California, and purchased five firearms, including the offered Colt Lawman MKIII .357 Magnum revolver. In the world of Elvis gun collecting, rarely can one make such a conclusive statement. But the weapon presented here, and its supporting documentation, create the perfect opportunity to make such a claim.
Lot 144: 1969 Elvis Presley Owned and Worn Black Shirt, Black Pants and Gold Metal Belt Ensemble
Estimated Price: $12,000 - $15,000
Elvis owned a lot of clothing during his lifetime, but few outfits scream “ELVIS” like the offered trio of a jet-black shirt, pants and metallic gold belt. Included with the lot are a trio of snapshot copies taken on the front porch of Graceland. The photos are of Elvis with Priscilla, Elvis with Billy Stanley’s cousin Teresa and one older gentleman (most likely a Stanley family relative). Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
