Elvis Back In Nashville - Sony Legacy
In the fall of this year, Sony will release the album Elvis Back in Nashville, on a 4CD box set and on double vinyl. The album features work by Elvis from 1971, songs he recorded at RCA's recording studios in Nashville.

these sessions have always been among my favorites...and it really shines on this newest release.
love the pop/folk sides...makes me wish they had appeared on Elvis Now this way.

all among my favorites and really sound great.
but the ones that really pop are

but my favorites are the gospel cuts.
the music closest to his musical soul and that brilliant album...he touched me.
and lets not forget the christmas songs which really benefit stripped of the over dubs.
i'm wearing out my copy.
