Fighting To Stay Alive (2LP + CD) - VV Records

Fighting To Stay Alive (2LP + CD) - VV Records

To be released at the end of April, Fighting To Stay Alive (VV Records) will focus on Elvis’ February 1977 tour, featuring shows from February 20 and 21, 1977, the first previously unreleased on vinyl while the second taken directly from the original high-quality tape.

The February shows were previously released on CD but this is the first time on vinyl format with an incredibly superior sound. The vinyl will be accompanied by a CD compilation with combines the best of the two Charlotte shows giving us a complete show. A Must-have!

The VV intends to present Elvis at the peak of his possibility. Elvis the Charlotte's two final concerts of the February tour are undoubtedly the best moments of Elvis in 1977, presenting him at the top of his possibilities, delivering two great shows. If Rock is an attitude, then the man still has it. The performances are very good and the shows are surely the best of the tour.

Elvis sings and is still very active on the stage He performs all the songs to the maximum of his possibilities, presenting all the best of his repertoire from the previous years combined with the last 1976 single Hurt, and introducing a new single  Moody Blue together the “new” unchained melody inside his repertoire ranging in all musical genres as only he can do.

We are happy to be able to associate great performance with great audio quality and overall
a great bonus CD to be able to obtain a result that you can enjoy too.

The two shows are great and now consist of a solid collection of great-quality songs all well-performed. The range of Elvis’ performance is extensive we go from the oldies rocking with the two classic Little Sister and Jailhouse Rock to the power pop last single Moody Blue, without forgetting the sensitive My Way and the religious How Great Thou Art the autobiographical You Gave Me a Mountain ending with the best topic moment show the powerful pop ballad Unchained Melody where Elvis accompanied himself at the piano and without a doubt represent the highlight of the complete tour.

The double LP and bonus CD are released in a gatefold cover and in a total edition of 500 copies, each of which is divided into five different vinyl color variants (black, blue, red, green, pink).

All the copies will come with Glossy Stickers hand-numbered and individually sealed.
